+++CONWEAVER presents base technology for the data layer of the Digital Twin+++
The Daimler EDM CAE Forum is considered the central meeting place for the EDM and CAE community of Daimler AG and its partners. Look forward to a unique event which not only informs, but also inspires. As a project partner of Daimler AG, CONWEAVER will of course be represented again in 2019. In our lecture on 17th July at 2 pm and at our booth (place C7.1) we will present our Linksphere technology for the realization of the Digital Twin.
The Digital Twin, the goal of the PDM2020 program, is realized with the help of a data layer (based on the Linksphere platform). This data layer (knowledge graph) is required to create the data relationship knowledge that is distributed over the heterogeneous data silos and necessary for the digital twin.
Our lecture and booth will present Linksphere – the full stack graph platform – and show how its cockpits (e.g. BTV, PDM) can be used to shorten development and production processes. We will also be showing these in a live demo in cooperation with our internal partners from the project. Get a deep insight into the project and how it grew from a hackathon to a live system in a short time, especially thanks to the great cooperation and the early onboarding of our internal partners.
Find out what other uses the linked data approach opens up for you within PDM, (MB)SE, BI or AI.
Also interesting and exciting, the symbiosis of linked data cockpits and 3D visualization in cooperation with the Fraunhofer IGD, here in a live demo with VR glasses.

Guided Tour “Components of the Digital Twins"
For the first time, the so-called Guided Tours will take place during the forum:
- Between the lectures short guided tours (max. 20 - 30 minutes) through the exhibition will be organized.
- Starting from a Daimler exhibition booth, 2 - 4 additional exhibition booths will be visited by external partners as part of a small guided tour.
- A short presentation of approx. 5 minutes on the topic will be given per booth
- Max. 10 persons per tour possible
- A registration for the Guided Tours takes place on site at the information desk and the seats are allocated for each tour according to the "First Come, First Serve" principle.
CONWEAVER is part of the Guided Tour "Components of the Digital Twins" with the following dates:
- 17th July, 13:15 hrs.
- 17th July, 14:45 hrs.
- 18th July, 12:15 hrs.
Meeting point for the Guided Tours is the Guided Tours booth A1 in the exhibition hall C2 (in the map at the bottom left). The tour leader will welcome you there.
About the Daimler EDM CAE Forum
The Daimler EDM CAE Forum builds on the events of recent years, but also brings some innovations.
In addition to the key note speakers at the beginning and end of the forum, you can expect over 100 presentations on IT and RD as well as an exhibition of many external Daimler partners.
New this year are the Guided Tours during the breaks, where the exhibition topics will be illustrated in short presentations. In addition, Daimler will for the first time completely dispense with an event brochure at the EDM CAE Forum 2019. Instead, the Forum's official website will be expanded and used as an interactive communication platform. More to Daimler EDM CAE Forum 2019...
